Kartik Aaryan keeps THIS souvenir from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as personal memorabilia
Actor Kartik Aaryan is presently basking in the success of his latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which ended the dry spell of Hindi films at the box office. The horror-comedy has also become Kartik's biggest hit to date, leaving behind his past releases like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), Luka Chuppi (2019), and Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019).
Directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has netted over Rs 160 crore at the domestic ticket windows to date, which is a commendable feat given the way big-budget Hindi films have flopped in the recent past.
For Kartik, the film will always be very special. And as a token of remembrance, the actor has kept his Rooh Baba’s outfit with him, which he wore in the film.
Talking about this, Kartik said, “I took Rooh baba’s outfit after the wrap of the film. It is a special costume. Whenever I wore it in the film, the audience clapped and cheered and it was so satisfying. This film and the character I played will always remain close to my heart. Whenever I come across the outfit, I get super overwhelmed thinking of the good old shooting days. It's a very special emotion!”
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan will next star in a remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), titled Shehzada, and in Shashanka Ghosh's romantic thriller Freddy.
He has also committed to star in Om Raut's yet-untitled action film and in the Sajid Nadiadwala-produced romance saga Satyanarayan Ki Katha. Besides, Aaryan will also collaborate with Hansal Mehta in the social drama Captain India, in which he will play an air force officer.
