Karan Johar reveals his children Yash and Roohi’s favourite actor and why they don’t watch ‘Koffee with Karan’

Karan Johar’s comeback as a director stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the lead. The duo have garnered huge success for their first collaboration ’Gully Boy’ now they are all set to be seen in the upcoming ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. In a recent interview, Karan spoke about his children. From their favourite star to the kind of content they view.

Karan in the interview was asked who are Yash and Roohi’s favourite celebrities. Karan explained how to his children, that the majority of actors are their chachis, chachus and didis. Saying "All the actors who I work with come home a lot, and the kids are warm to them, they are very warm to the kids. So they don't have any favourites, but they know them all now. Their favorite is, I think Alia didi, because she also ties rakhi to Yash. So they know that there is this special rishta there."During the same interview, the filmmaker shared why his kids do not watch his most popular show ‘Koffee with Karan’."No, not yet. Not because of any other reasons, it's just that they don't know any of these people, they don't know what they're saying. In fact, when my mother was watching the first episode with Ranveer (Singh) and Alia (Bhatt), they know them because they have seen them so much at the house." He also shared how he hopes his children will see the show when they are older.

Coming to the filmmaker’s upcoming work. He has wrapped the shoot for his much-awaited ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. He not so long ago shared how excited he is to produce two films with Sara Ali Khan.
