Karan Johar responds to US Navy personnel singing the song Kal Ho Naa Ho at a dinner party

After seeing a video of US Navy personnel performing the theme song from Kal Ho Naa Ho at a dinner party, Karan Johar responded. Shankar Ehsaan Loy wrote the song, which was sung by Sonu Nigam.

All across the world, Bollywood movies and their music are praised. The popular title track from the successful film Kal Ho Naa Ho directed by Karan Johar was recently performed by a group of US Navy officers. The director has now responded to the same.

In the video, a male and female officer from the US Navy sing the song in Hindi while a US Navy officer plays guitar. Nikkhil Advani was the director of the 2003 film Kal Ho Na Ho starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.

Karan shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “And the song lives on." Additionally tagged in the post were Shah Rukh Khan, Javed Akhtar, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, and Nikkhil Advani, the director.

Sonu Nigam provided the vocals for the Kal Ho Naa Ho theme song. In addition to Saif Ali Khan, the movie also stars Sonali Bendre, Jaya Bachchan, Sushma Seth, and Reema Lagoo. Some of his followers suggested that the director also mention singer Sonu Nigam. A large number of people applauded Shah Rukh, who in the movie played a cancer patient.

On the work front, Karan Johar is currently hosting the seventh season of his talk show, Koffee With Karan. With Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, he will return to directing after a nearly five-year absence. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. It is slated to release in February next year.
