Karan Johar is renowned for giving his frank opinion on issues that deserve to be heard. In reality, most of it was expressed verbally in his memoir, "An Unsuitable Boy." He recently remembered "not so fond memories" from his youth that made him withdraw within himself. He also said that Shah Rukh Khan gave him a sense of worth.

In his biography, "A Suitable Boy," Karan Johar disclosed his sexual orientation. KJo revealed that he feigned to 'adore a girl' in school when he was in the tenth grade during a recent interview with Nikhil Taneja on a YouTube show. He also noted that back then, it was called "pansyin," and that terms like "gay" and "homo" are now used disparagingly.

The term, according to the director, made him withdraw into himself. Shah Rukh Khan was heavily praised by Karan, who claimed that the ‘Jawan’ actor was the first person to not make him feel inferior.

Several days ago, on Threads, a user questioned Karan Johar, "You are gay, right? (sic)". The sassiest remark from the director was, "You're interested? (sic)."
