She recently discussed how, despite appearing in 60 films, she did not receive the same pay as male performers. She indicated in the interview that she would receive 10% of the pay that the male actors would receive. As of late, Kangana Ranaut has responded to Priyanka Chopra's allegations. She wrote a lengthy statement on her Instagram stories claiming that salary inequality exists in real life.
Kangana Ranaut noted in the message that previous generations of women had simply accepted these patriarchal conventions, and that she was the first woman in Bollywood to fight for wage equity. Additionally, she mentioned instances in which her colleagues provided work for free while she was still in the negotiation phase. Additionally, she wrote, "I can say with confidence most A-listers (women) do films for free along with offering other favours because they fear roles will go to the right people… and then shrewdly release articles that they are the highest paid, haha… in the film industry everyone knows that only I get paid like male actors and no one else… and they have no one else to blame at least now." On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut has a busy agenda. She has a few flicks in her collection. Her upcoming film, ‘Emergency’, will be her next appearance.
