Dhaakad, starring Kangana Ranaut, was her biggest flop ever in Bollywood. The film recently breached the Rs 3 crore mark at the box office and, as a result, it failed to find buyers for OTT and satellite rights.

Ranaut’s spirit, on the other hand, hasn't been broken by the box office failure of the film. In response to the unfavourable reactions, Kangana declared that she has blockbuster films lined up for 2022 and that it isn't finished yet.

She shared a screenshot of her being called "the box office queen of India" on her Instagram Stories. The four-time National Film Award-winning actress responded by writing, “2019 I have Manikarnika 160 crore ka superhit film. 2020 was Covid year, 2021 I have the biggest film of my career, Thalaivii, which came on OTT and was a huge success.”

Using her reality show Lock Upp as an example, she wrote, “I see lots of curated negativity but 2022 is the year of blockbusters. Lock Upp and it’s not over yet.”

She concluded by saying that she has “high hopes” for the coming year. Kangana Ranaut made her hosting debut on Lock Upp.
