Sooraj Pancholi is currently the buzz of the town. He made headlines in the entertainment industry for his candid interview in which he discussed his struggles following Jiah Khan's death. The actor admits that he is still coming to terms with the idea that he no longer has to go to court and that everything has come to an end. He admits to having spent his whole twenties in court. Sooraj claims that he is still processing the reality that he is free.

When asked about his relationship with Jiah, he recalled sending the actress a friend request on Facebook. Jiah returned to him after roughly a year. They were friends after that. He reveals that he and Jiah were in a relationship for five months. He admits he had no idea how much Jiah Khan was hurting and going through. Jiah, according to Startar, needed affection not just from her partner but also from her family. He claims Jiah was the family's primary earner, caring for her mother, Rabia Khan and her boyfriend, as well as her two stepsisters.

In an interview, Sooraj revealed that when he and Jiah were only friends, the Nishabd actress cut her hand to end her life. He had then contacted her mother, Rabia Khan, who was in London. Rabia had told Sooraj that she would take the first flight out to Mumbai. However, she did not appear for months. Sooraj Pancholi adds that Jiah was a great girl who deserved familial affection, and that his love for her was insufficient. According to Sooraj, the court found that Jiah did not write the suicide note.

Sooraj claims that the mother simply wants to shift the blame to someone else. He claims that she needs someone to blame in order to be at peace. Jiah had been supporting her family since she was sixteen years old. He claims that because he was her boyfriend, only his aspect was considered in the case.

Sooraj wonders if it is a crime to love someone. The actor goes on to say that the matter has caused him a lot of pain. He made his Bollywood debut two years after Jiah died. The crowd hesitated, and he was removed from projects. And some of the projects he was working on were halted in the middle.
