Deepika Padukone inspires Shah Rukh Khan, who is only proud and happy for her. Deepika was outstanding in ‘Jawan’; her cameo was dubbed "the best part of the blockbuster," and everyone praised Deepika Padukone for taking on this role. Now, during the ‘Jawan’ success ceremony, Shah Rukh Khan was seen gushing about Deepika, referring to her as a "large-size actor."
"It is very gutsy for her to take this role, because I always say there are no small roles; there are small actors, and I think with this film, Deepika really proves to everybody that she really is an actor; she is a large-size actor, a big-size actor," the superstar said.
Speaking about her collaboration with SRK, Deepika said, "When Shah Rukh and I work together, we are not just co-stars, it’s not formal, there is just a lot of love and that’s what always comes through in our work.”
Shah Rukh Khan joked that he and director Atlee "fooled" Deepika into thinking she had a cameo in the film despite the fact that she was one of the key characters. He said, “Deepika is feeling the most awkward, I will tell you why, because she feels, main to dosti me chhota sa role karne aa gayi thi."
He thanked her for being a part of the endeavour, calling her "a family" as well as a co-star.
The film ‘Jawan’ stars Shah Rukh Khan as Vikram Rathore and his son Azad. Deepika's character, Aishwarya, as Vikram Rathore's wife and Azad's mother, are shown in flashbacks.
