Jawan ADVANCE BOOKING: Shah Rukh Khan’s Action-Packed Thriller Sells 41,500 Tickets In Just One Day! (Details Inside)

With the release of ‘Pathaan’ in January, Shah Rukh Khan made a fantastic comeback to the big screen this year. The movie quickly rose to the top of the box office in Bollywood.

As a result, there are similar anticipation for SRK's upcoming film ‘Jawan,’ which is scheduled for global release on September 7. The intriguing movie's yesterday-released trailer gave away the fact that it has everything needed to be another box office hit for the star. This is also evident from the film's explosive advance booking start.

According to the seasoned trade analyst Taran Adarsh, as of this morning at 11:45 a.m., Jawan has already sold up to 41,500 seats. Recently, the nation began the process of selling tickets. To break down this total, the movie has sold 8,750 tickets at Cinepolis locations and 32,750 at PVR + Inox locations.

One must keep in mind that these figures only apply to the first day and the two largest multiplex chains in India. The figure is undoubtedly much greater if we take into account the several more multiplex chains and single-screen theatres spread throughout India.

‘Jawan,’ which is also produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Atlee Kumar, also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Ridhi Dogra, and Sanya Malhotra. Anirudh Ravichander provided the soundtrack for the movie.
