Janhvi Kapoor to jet off to Lucknow to shoot Bawaal

Janhvi Kapoor, who already has some exciting projects on her platter, recently added one more high-profile film to her resume when she signed on to star in filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s next directorial venture Bawaal.

The upcoming film, which Sajid Nadiadwala is bankrolling under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, also stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. Kapoor and Dhawan, both launched by Dharma Productions, are set to share the screen for the first time with Bawaal.

The latest update on the film suggests that the team is set to begin a schedule in Lucknow and Kapoor will soon fly to the city for the same. The actress will start filming Bawaal later this week in the city of Nawabs.

As per reports, Bawaal will be extensively shot in four European countries including Paris. In India, three locations have been zeroed in on for shoot, with Lucknow being one of them. The film is set to arrive in cinemas on April 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in Good Luck Jerry, followed by Mili. Both films are set to release this year only. Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Dharma Productions’ Jug Jugg Jeeyo, co-starring Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The film is set to release on June 24, 2022.
