Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most popular and talented star kids of Bollywood. In her latest appearance with Sara Ali Khan on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan, the actress divulged into a lot of details about her personal, professional, and dating life. Janhvi, who will soon be featured in the con-medy thriller Good Luck Jerry, recently discussed receiving advice to follow certain guidelines and concentrate on her public image in order to flourish in the industry.

While the approach may be effective for some, Janhvi stated in an interview that she would feel "wrong" if she followed it herself. When questioned about if being calculative is necessary for success in the film industry, the Dhadak (2018) actress responded, “I’ve been told that being calculative is necessary, maintaining a certain image is necessary. Like, ‘Don’t be seen like this, don’t be seen so easily, cater an image, focus on PR, put a little more on social media about work so that it doesn’t seem like you’re only doing yoga and partying and eating food’. But when I’m on set, I’m thinking about the scene, the work, the location, how am I going to take a picture then?”

"They tell me to be more committed to promotions. I can’t, I really can’t… It’s not bad advice, it works for some people. But it’s not who I am, so even if I try to do this it’ll feel wrong,” concluded the 25-year old.
