With a string of successive films, Vijay Varma is at the pinnacle of his cinema career. Following critically acclaimed performances in films such as ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Lust Stories 2’, and, most notably, Alia Bhatt's ‘Darlings’, the actor has lately played a key role in the mystery thriller ‘Jaane Jaan’. The film, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, launched on an OTT platform and has gotten positive feedback from audiences. Vijay and Kareena's characters have a moment in the film that involves momos and spicy chutney. Vijay recently participated in some light-hearted banter with paparazzi who mentioned this particular scene.
The paparazzi caught Vijay Varma in Mumbai on Wednesday, September 27, looking dapper in an all-black ensemble teamed with black sunglasses and white sneakers. He cheerfully posed for the cameras and asked about their reactions to his film ‘Jaane Jaan’. They answered positively, saying it was excellent, and one of the cameramen mentioned the infamous ‘Momo ki chutney' scene. This caused Vijay to bust out laughing.

For those who haven't seen the film, Vijay's cop character Karan investigates Kareena Kapoor Khan's character Maya while eating momos in ‘Jaane Jaan’. Maya orders the spiciest chutney in a fun ploy to upset him during their conversation.
Vijay Varma recently spoke with Film Companion about his experience working with Kareena Kapoor Khan on ‘Jaane Jaan’ and what he learned from her. Vijay joked that he wanted to start a family immediately away after working with her.
He shared, “Saif was there to babysit the kids when she was shooting, and it was lovely to see the entire family. The little one was on the set holding a mic and trying to sing. So, it was a very beautiful environment.”
