Jaane Jaan: Kareena Kapoor Khan REVEALS The Toughest Part To Act In A Crime Thriller! (Details Inside)

Kareena Kapoor Khan is a well-known Hindi cinema actor. The actress made her cinematic debut in 2000 with ‘Refugee’ and has subsequently appeared in a number of blockbusters, including ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘3 Idiots’. After 23 years, the performer is preparing for her big OTT debut with the Netflix original film ‘Jaane Jaan’. Sujoy Ghosh directs this mystery-thriller based on Keigo Higashino's bestselling 2005 novel The Devotion of Suspect X. Kareena recently discussed her experience making her OTT debut and how playing in the thriller genre is "tricky."

Kareena revealed in an interview that she has never shied away from attempting new things. The actress stated that she is at a point in her life where tales are vital, as is her love of performing. The actor, whose other feature, ‘The Buckingham Murders’, will premiere at the renowned BFI London feature Festival in October, said she tries to balance it out with releases, but her main interest is on doing new things.

Her experience on ‘Jaane Jaan’:

When asked about working on ‘Jaane Jaan’, Kareena stated that she believes the thriller genre is much more internal and intense. The actor went on to say that it is difficult for a performer to strike the appropriate balance in a thriller between how much they want to conceal and how much they want to reveal to the viewer.

Kareena stated of ‘Jaane Jaan’ that filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh has braided a thriller with a love narrative that she is looking forward to. "Ultimately, it was a lovely experience because he was so clear about how much the actors should be giving on set, and he made it so easy for all of us," Kareena continued.
