In the realm of Indian cinema, massive budgets for films and particular songs are not uncommon. Numerous songs have been produced at staggering amounts, but none can compete with Rajinikanth's track ‘Yanthara Lokapu Sundarive’ from the movie 2.0. ‘Zinda Banda’ from ‘Jawan’, with its Rs 15 crore expense, holds the second spot, surpassing the popular tracks 'Ajooba' from S Shankar's movie 'Jean,' and 'Oo Antava' from ‘Pushpa’.

2.0, directed by S Shankar and starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, holds the distinction of being the most expensive film in the Indian film industry, with a budget of Rs 543 crore. Among its songs, ‘Yanthara Lokapu Sundarive’ stands out as the most expensive, with an investment of Rs 20 crore. This exceptional track was filmed in grand sets over a period of 10 days, featuring Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson. Sung by Sid Sriram and Shashaa Tirupati, with lyrics by Anantha Sriram and music composed by the iconic AR Rahman, the song was choreographed by Bosco Martis. There is also a Hindi version with lyrics penned by Abbas Tyrewala and Amitabh Bhattacharya.
