In response to Sara Ali Khan dating rumours, Shubman Gill breaks his silence and claims to ‘have stated the truth’

Actress Sara Ali Khan left the rumour mills spinning following her connection with cricketer Shubman Gill after their split from Kartik Aaryan. Fans have been buzzing about the possibility of Sara and Shubman dating for a while now. Shubman addressed the rumours for the first time in the midst of rumours.

During a recent visit on the Punjabi chat programme Dil Diyan Gallan hosted by Preeti and Neeti Simoes, the young cricketer finally spoke out about the relationship rumours. The 23-year-old cricketer was asked on the show who the fittest Bollywood actress was, and he responded with Sara.

After he revealed it, Sonam Bajwa, the show's host, asked the cricketer if he was dating the actress. He responded, "Maybe." Then Sonam pressed him for more information, saying, "Tell the complete truth," to which Shubman replied, "Sara da sara sach bol diya" (I have told the truth). Perhaps, perhaps not.

DATING SARA-SHUBMAN? HOW IT ALL BEGAN

After a video of Sara and Shubman eating dinner together went viral in August of this year, relationship rumours about the two started to circulate. Fans were quite interested in the viral clip and wanted to know more about the couple's connection. Then, a woman was seen in the video spotting the two of them at Bastian in Mumbai. They are seen seated together on a plane in another footage that surfaced in October. Sara was seen leaving a hotel foyer wearing a pink tank top. The camera looked around to view what appeared to be Shubman as she turned to leave, fueling online rumours.

Prior to dating the cricketer, Sara was also said to be seeing her Love Aaj Kal 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan, a relationship that she confirmed on Koffee With Karan 7 this year.
