Imran Khan has been dishing out nostalgia on social media, and his fans are loving it! In his latest post, the actor reminisced his tryst with action and crime genre with 'Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara'.

We can see him sitting on a bike wearing a black kurta in the first photo, and he is seen with Sonakshi Sinha in the second photo, which appears to be a hospital scene. In the third, he is seen doing an action scene with Akshay Kumar.

The post reads, “Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara (that’s the official spelling, zoom in on the poster if you don’t believe me) was a tricky film. It was perceived and marketed as a gangster movie, but I had always seen it as a tragic romance; while the characters are gangsters, the plot is entirely driven by the love story, not the cops vs robbers stuff..”

‘Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara’, a sequel to 2010's ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, was published in 2013. It starred Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan, and Sonakshi Sinha, with a cameo by Sonali Bendre.

Imran's followers are eagerly awaiting the announcement of his comeback film. Despite early commercial success, Imran's films ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ and ‘Katti Batti’ underperformed. He did make a comeback as a director in 2018, directing the short film ‘Mission Mars: Keep Walking India’, but he did not continue directing after that.
