Housefull 5: WOW! Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Film Is The Most EXPENSIVE Film Of The Actor? (Details Inside)

Sajid Nadiadwala has revealed some information regarding ‘Housefull 5’, the upcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar. The movie's budget has been disclosed by the director, and all we can infer from that is that it is both Sajid and Akshay's most expensive picture to date. The budget for the movie is almost similar to ‘Pathaan's’ total box office earnings. Shah Rukh Khan was in the highest-grossing Bollywood movie ever, which brought in over 500 crores of rupees.

A whopping USD 48 million, or Rs. 375 crores, went into the production of ‘Housefull 5.’ Compared to the highest-grossing Bollywood film, that is almost Rs. 100 crores less. During his interview, Sajid made this revelation. He has just committed Rs. 10 billion to projects in the UK that would star Bollywood A-listers. These movies are ‘Housefull 5’, ‘Chandu Champion’ (a Kartik Aaryan film directed by Kabir Khan), and Tiger Shroff's ‘Baaghi 4.’

Since 2020, Akshay Kumar had consistently produced box office duds. Among his first successes since then is the actor's most recent film, ‘OMG 2.’ Despite this, there is a ton of pressure on him.

Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh play the key characters in ‘Housefull 5.’ Tarun Mansukhani of ‘Dostana’ fame will direct it. The popularity of the Housefull franchise, with its four films collectively grossing USD 118 million, may account for the high budget. In 2024, around Diwali, the movie will be released.

The month-long schedule for ‘Chandu Champion’ in the UK just came to an end. ‘Baaghi 4’ is currently in the scripting phase. "We have established close ties with Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, which have become like second homes for our filming locations. Our commitment to entertaining our viewers remains strong, and our upcoming films promise to entertain with Housefull 5, inspire with Chandu Champion, and captivate with Baaghi 4," Sajid stated in an interview.
