Here's why Neetu Kapoor got emotional during Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Mehendi ceremony

The pre-wedding celebrations for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt kicked off yesterday, April 13, with a bang. Neetu Kapoor, who has been missing her husband, Rishi Kapoor, becomes emotional as her son's wedding approaches. Neetu Kapoor was teary-eyed and recalled memories of her own mehendi and engagement, according to a source present at Alia-Ranbir's mehendi  ceremony.

Among those that arrived in Vastu for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's mehendi wedding were Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and Karan Johar. Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir's mother, got emotional remembering her own mehendi and engagement with late actor Rishi Kapoor at the event. She was teary-eyed, according to a source. We also learned that at Alia and Ranbir's mehendi, Neetu and Alia's mother, Soni Razdan, was seen interacting and taking multiple pictures with family members.

Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir's wedding is making headlines. In the presence of friends and family, the duo will tie the knot today, April 14th, in a traditional Punjabi ceremony. The Haldi ceremony for Ranbir and Alia will allegedly commence at 9 a.m. tomorrow, followed by the chooda ceremony. Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and other Bollywood stars are expected to attend the much-anticipated wedding.

Alia Bhatt will continue to work on her upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh after their wedding whereas Ranbir Kapoor will continue shooting for Animal and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next.
