In a recent interview, Bhumi discusses her shooting intimate scenes in Lust Stories. Zoya Akhtar shot this short, and she tells how nervous she was while shooting the scene in a crowded place.

Four stories created by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar are collected together in the anthology titled Lust Stories. Bhumi plays a role of a housekeeper dealing with a complex relationship with her boss, played by Neil Bhoopalam, counting sexually.

Apart from Bhumi, other actors in Lust Stories were Kiara Advani, Radhika Apte, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, and Neha Dhupia. It was made available on Netflix in 2018, and the performance of Bhumi has earned rave reviews.

In a recent interview, Bhumi recalls her intimate scene shoot when she got nervous about getting shot in a crowded room. She said she was concerned when working for Lust Stories. Whereas it had the "Full Throttle" orgasm, she didn't have it at the time, not for her, at least as the intimacy coordinates. Zoya explained it's not about being a girl; you should feel comfortable as well as a male co-star. She guided Neil and Bhumi throughout it with empathy.

However, It was uneasy because she was the most exposed in the crowded room. Having full protection, Neil and Bhumi still had to sit down and agree upon their boundaries. The director and the actors had a crucial discourse in and of itself. Since they were in a moment, and this was no different.
