Salman Khan is one of the select few celebrities who is rarely seen wearing anything other than designer clothes whether he is not hosting Bigg Boss 16 or acting in a movie with his own clothing line, Being Human. The actor once stated in an interview that he doesn't like wearing expensive clothes because he knows his fans would try to copy him and he doesn’t want his fans to waste their money. A good figure will make a person seem good in any type of clothing, he had added.
Currently, Salman is preparing for his upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In Chiranjeevi's Telugu film Godfather, he was most recently spotted.
Salman was questioned about his enormous fan base in an earlier interview. Reddit users recently shared the video footage.
The actor stated,"I think they see a common man in me. I don't like to live like a star. Main jeans pehenta hu fati hui, Being Human ki t-shirts pehenta hu, ek jodi boots sada hua pata nhi kabse (I wear torn jeans, Being Human t-shirts and old boots since ages). Because you can at least afford to dress up well. Dressing doesn't mean buying expensive clothes. Salaries are very less, families are huge. Jo cheez hum pehente hain (the clothes that we wear), the kids want it, the fans want it. Ab Armani ka suit pehenenge, ya Versace ya Dolce and Gabbana doesn't make any difference. I would much prefer to dress in the loosest possible clothing as long as it makes you look nice since you work out. Aap tight jeans pehne, dheeli jeans pehne ya fati hui jeans pehne, agar kapde ke neeche aapki body ajhi hai to aapke upar kujh bhi ajha lagega ( If you have a good body , anything can look good on you, whether you wear tight jeans, loose jeans or ripped jeans) You wear tight jeans or loose jeans or torn jeans, if the body under your clothes is good then anything would look good on you). That is something I keep on doing. For the sake of the scenarios, we have to dress differently in movies.
Fans had positive reactions as well as mixed reactions on the video. A user commented, “Surprisingly (to me), bhai seems like the kind of guy who would think about this. He seems quite hyper-aware of his fanbase's demographics in recent years. But also - doesn't he wear those hella expensive designer jeans with patches and all?” Another wrote, “He's right though. He's never cared about brands or a fancy lifestyle. He said the same to a fan on BB .. don't waste your or your parent's hard earned money on clothes just because stars wear all this.”
