Happy 60th Birthday Rajkumar Hirani

Rajkumar Hirani, who has only produced five films, has firmly established himself as one of the country's top directors. The director's perspective and method of delivering a tale have genuinely revolutionised and altered the processes of filmmaking in the Indian cinema industry. Rajkumar Hirani has directed 19 films throughout his career and is thought to be the only Hindi film director to have had a perfect track record. Then why not? After all, every Hirani movie can elicit both laughter and tears from the audience. The director also contributed five blockbusters to Bollywood, and for each of those movies, he was honoured with either the Best Director or Best Film Award.

In honour of his 60th birthday, let's review some of his best works:

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S

Sanjay Dutt's comeback as an actor is credited to this hit, even though Hirani made his directorial debut in 2003. Hirani earned the reputation of a superb storyteller with only his debut picture. The film held all the necessary elements to be one of the top entertainments of 2003, including winning the National Award, multiple Filmfare Awards, having the highest box office receipts of the year, and making Munna and Circuit household celebrities.

Lage Raho Munna Bhai

Three years later, Munnabhai 2 was released, and Hirani once more delighted the crowd. By including Vidya Balan, Hirani brought even more comic timing to his gags, which were already amusing because of the continued use of Boman Irani, Circuit, and Munna. Hirani's follow-up to his initial film was a commercial success.

3 Idiots

This movie doesn't need to be introduced. If you haven't seen this film, you can't just declare that you adore Bollywood. The satirical comedy-drama explores the nuances of Indian society, where each child's life is meticulously planned by their parents. Every single character in the movie 3 Idiots made an instant impression on the audience and became a worldwide phenomenon.

Following the enormous success of the Aamir Khan-starring film 3 Idiots, Hirani teamed up with Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist once more to produce another all-time blockbuster. One of the highest-grossing films at the box office to date, PK strives to open people's eyes to superstition and religious diversity.

Sanju

Hirani produced another huge blockbuster by portraying Sanjay Dutt in real life, working with one of the most talented performers of our generation, Ranbir Kapoor.
