Hansal Mehta pens down a heartfelt note for Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa
Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta on Tuesday gave a pleasant surprise to the fans of actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. For the uninitiated, Mehta was one of the very few celebrities who was in attendance at the actors’ private wedding ceremony in Chandigarh on November 15, 2021. The filmmaker took to Instagram to share beautiful photos from the celebration. He also penned down a heartfelt note for the newlyweds.
“They say that the birth of a child often changes one’s fortunes for the better. His entry into my office one hot afternoon changed my life. My son, my friend, my brother, my muse Rajkummar Rao. I would imagine that to be married to my darling Patralekhaa is just what blessings from the almighty would be like,” wrote the filmmaker.
He concluded by saying that Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s was truly the most joyous wedding ever. “Two beautiful souls, one beautiful bond and many blessings for all the best things that life has to offer. This was truly the most joyous wedding ever, the wedding of a lifetime!”
In the beautifully captured first candid picture, we can see the trio all smiles at the wedding venue. The second photograph shows them hugging each other warmly at a pool party held prior to the wedding day.
Rajkummar Rao and Hansal Mehta have done several films together. Some of their most notable films include Shahid (2013), CityLights (2014), Aligarh (2015), and Omerta (2018). CityLights also starred Patralekhaa in the lead role. Rao and Mehta last collaborated on Chhalaang (2020), which premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
