Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur both appeared to have fantastic last releases and an interesting slate of projects ahead of them. In their upcoming project, 'Gumraah,' the two will share the screen for the first time. The makers had earlier revealed the film's release date as April 7. And now, as the film's release date approaches, the makers have released a teaser. In the teaser, we see Aditya fighting cops while flashing one of his flaming glances at the camera.
While it definitely does not reveal much about the film, the teaser displays multiple shades exhibited by Aditya's character, who goes from a lover to one displaying glimpses of his grey shade. Mrunal appears to be a cop, and with a serial killer on the loose, she has her work cut out for her. Yet, the teaser suggests that Aditya may be one of the evil guys himself. We also see Ronit Roy in the teaser who seems to be playing a cop too in the film. After the success of Aditya Roy Kapur’s ‘The Night Manager’, fans are excited to watch him on the big screen in an action avatar.
‘Gumraah’ is a remake of Magizh Thirumeni's 2019 Tamil film ‘Thadam’. The Tamil crime thriller starred Arun Vijay, Vidya Pradeep, Tanya Hope, and Smruthi Venkat. ‘Gumraah’ is directed by Vardhan Ketkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Productions. ‘Gumraah’ will hit theatres on April 7, 2023.
