Tiger Shroff  returned to Mumbai after completing Heropanti 2's London schedule. He returned to the Queen's City shortly after that to begin filming alongside Kriti Sanon for Vikas Bahl's Ganapath. Late last year, the duo began filming for Ganapath in the United Kingdom, and Pinkvilla had exclusively revealed that actor Rahman has been cast as Tiger Shroff's father in this future thriller.

There are now more updates on the much anticipated flick. As per reports, after the completion of the film's London session, Tiger and Kriti will begin the second schedule in Mumbai next month, followed by a third cycle in Ladakh. A source connected to the project revealed, “The makers recently finished their Ladakh recee, and are gearing up to start filming soon. They were looking for a specific set up to shoot some important outdoor sequences and have found an apt location in Ladakh for the same. Both Mumbai and Ladakh schedules will combine for a month, after which the makers will call it a wrap.”

Directed by Vikas Bahl and backed by Jackky Bhagnani, Ganapath will mark Shroff's second collaboration with Kriti Sanon after eight long years. The duo previously shared the screen space in Sabbir Khan's 2014 romcom Heropanti.

Kriti expressed her delight at the thought of reuniting with her first co-star in an earlier interview. “See Tiger is someone who I have like a soft corner for in my heart, because he’s my first co-star in the Hindi film industry, and we have started our careers together. We have been in the same boat, gone through the same things and grown together,”said the 31-year-old actress.

“You’ll see me do action for the first time properly. You have seen the poster that has me on a Dirt Bike, that’s also something that I’m supposed to learn. I mean, I did ride a Bullet in Bachchan Pandey, but a Bullet and a Dirt Bike are very different from each other,” the Mimi (2021) star added.

In the meanwhile, Tiger and Kriti are set to star in a number of exciting flicks. In addition to Ganapath and Heropanti 2, the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, was recently announced. Kriti, on the other hand, will be next seen in Bachchhan Paandey, Adipurush, and Bhediya.
