Gadar 2: Sunny Deol States 'Political Blame Game Creates HATRED Between Two Nations…’ (Details Inside)

Sunny Deol who is an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP will be back on the 70mm with 'Gadar 2'. Since the movie is also linked with religious rivalry between two nations, he mentioned that it is politics which fuels hatred between India and Pakistan. The film will be released in theatres on August 11.

The trailer of the film was launched yesterday (July 26) and featured Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as Tara Singh and Sakeena respectively. The story picks up 22 years after the first installments was released.

As the trailer launch was held, Sunny Deol addressed the media, "The essence lies in humanity, not in taking or giving. A conflict between the two sides should not prevail. It is the political blame game that creates hatred between India and Pakistan, a theme reflected in this film. Both nations comprise people who seek peace, as we are essentially one and the same."

Sunny Deol is a BJP MP from Gurdaspur in Punjab.

Tara Singh is driven to return to Pakistan in this sequel, but this time to collect his kid, played by Utkarsh Sharma. His vow to Sakina demonstrates his steadfast resolve.
