Salman previously had Y+ category security supplied by the police, and he traveled in a car that could withstand a bullet along with his personal security guards. According to the report, the police have now implemented extra security measures to ensure the actor's safety.
After the actor got a threat via email from Lawrence Bishnoi's aide, Mumbai Police has issued a new directive for the actor's supporters.
The Bandra police have filed a FIR against three people, Lawrence, Goldy, and Rohit, for reportedly sending a threatening email to Salman's office on Saturday. The FIR was filed as a result of a police complaint made by Prashant Gunjalkar, an artist manager who, according to the police, frequently visits Salman at his home in Bandra.
On Saturday afternoon, Prashant noted an email had arrived from the ID Rohit Garg when he was in Salman's office, the official claimed, citing the FIR. Salman must have seen Lawrence's recent talk with a news outlet, the email said, and if not, he should. “there is still time but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (next time he will receive shock)”, it said, addressing Prashant, adding that if Salman wishes to put an end to the matter, he should speak face-to-face with Goldy.
