The festival will pay tribute to the timeless entertainment icon Dev Anand on his 100th birth anniversary. Audiences will have the unmissable opportunity to watch four of his milestone films restored in 4K resolution: 'C.I.D.' (1956), 'Guide' (1965), 'Jewel Thief' (1967), and 'Johny Mera Naam' (1970).

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, Founder and Director of the Film Heritage Foundation, stated that the festival is a way to honor Dev Anand's legacy and introduce his work to a new generation of audiences. He also highlighted the importance of collaborating with NFDC, which has restored the four films, to preserve India's cinematic heritage.

Suneil Anand, Dev Anand's son, expressed his pleasure in the Film Heritage Foundation's efforts to celebrate his father's centenary. He believes that Dev Anand's films were decades ahead of their time and remain an inspiration to the youth of India and the world.

The festival marks the first time a government body has collaborated with a not-for-profit organization for a film festival of such scale. It is a testament to the shared commitment of the Film Heritage Foundation and NFDC to preserve and promote Indian cinema.
