Ever since superstar Hrithik Roshan announced he is joining forces with none other than Deepika Padukone for Siddharth Anand’s next directorial venture Fighter, fans have been eagerly waiting to see them sizzle the silver screen.
Set to be mounted on a lavish budget, Fighter marks their first collaboration together. The film was set to go before cameras a long time ago, but the coronavirus pandemic threw a wrench into the works and it is yet to get off the ground.
But if fresh reports are to be believed, Hrithik and Deepika will commence shooting for the film in the month of June.
A source close to the development informs a leading publication, “Both Hrithik and Deepika will be getting in their best shape physically for this film. There's a lot of action involved. Since the lockdown restrictions have eased, the film will be shot all around the world.”
In addition to Hrithik and Deepika, Fighter also features evergreen star Anil Kapoor in an important role. It is set to enter cinemas on January 26th, 2023. It will lock horns with John Abraham’s recently announced action thriller Tehran at the box office.
Meanwhile, Deepika is busy filming Pathan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, is busy with his next Vikram Vedha.
