In the official Hindi remake of the cult Tamil film Vikram Vedha (2017), Hrithik Roshan is playing the lead role. In the original film, Vijay Sethupathi played the role of ‘Vedha', and now in the Hindi remake, Hrithik will replace Vijay for the role. On his birthday, the makers of the film revealed the first look of Hrithik’s character from the film, which looks similar to Vijay’s character.
R. Madhavan who played the role of Vikram in the original film, took to Twitter to praise the look of Hrithik Roshan. The actor wrote in his tweet, "Now, that’s a Vedha I do want to see."
Hrithik looks rugged yet charming in the first look of his character. The actor is covered in blood smear and he looks dashing with the beard. The look is also accompanied with messy hairs and cool shades. He had earlier praised R. Madhavan’s latest web series Decoupled (2021).
As mentioned earlier, the original Tamil film had R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi as leads, and the Bollywood remake will feature Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan in place of the original cast, respectively. The shooting of the film has already begun and the film is scheduled for release on September 30, 2022.
