On Monday, the highly anticipated Drishyam 2 trailer was unveiled. Ajay Devgn will return to the role of Vijay Salgaonkar, who is attempting to bury a crime both physically and figuratively in order to protect his family, in the follow-up to the 2015 thriller. However, the voice explains in the trailer that truth is like a seed and cannot be hidden. On November 18, 2022, the Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starring movie is scheduled for release in theatres. Rajat Kapoor, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Akshaye Khanna also have key roles in the movie.

Ajay Devgn shared the awaited trailer on his social media handle. The caption of the post read, “Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhoot chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai. #Drishyam2Trailer Out Now Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022” Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Ajay Devgn, says in the trailer's opening that his family is still being sought after seven years after Sam vanished. The investigation appears to be ongoing. The investigating officer is Akshaye Khanna, and his goal is to expose Vijay's deception. But they are up against the same obstacle—evidence. Enter Tabu, the mother of Sam and a former intelligence officer (IG), who won't again undervalue this "4th-fail anpadh."

About Drishyam 2

In the hugely successful 2015 movie "Drishyam," Ajay played the role of Vijay, who deceived everyone into thinking that his family had taken a vacation. This was a brilliant move on his part to prevent his family from being charged with murder. The 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, with Mohanlal playing the lead role, was remade for the Hindi language with Ajay as the main actor. Nishikant Kamat, a director who won a National Award and passed away in 2020 at the age of 50, directed it.
