Tejasswi Prakash requires no introduction. She has gained immense fame as a participant and a winner of Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss 15. She is a fashionista and a TV icon. She is gradually making her way into films and some very popular television shows. Recently, there was a buzz about her auditioning for Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film ‘Dream Girl 2’. The actress has clarified her stance on the same.
Tejasswi Prakash addressed the rumours that she tried out for Dream Girl 2 in an interview. She stated: “I am not going to name any film in particular. I am not a person who is a reality star or social media influencer who is trying to get into acting. I am an actor. I am an artist, and I am going to do what I am good at. That’s why, for me, the platform really doesn’t matter. But I am going to take up things in the future that let me do what my job is.”
Tejasswi Prakash continued, “I shouldn’t be given anything less because I am not a person from a different field who is trying to come into this. I deserve a better role. I deserve a meaty role because that is what I am able to do as an artist. I think anything less than something that lets me perform is really beneath me.”
Tejasswi Prakash is currently developing the Marathi movie ‘College Ani Life’ for release. The movie's producer is Rohit Shetty. She also appears in ‘Naagin 6,’ which is shown on Colors.
Also, he will appear opposite Ananya Panday in Ayushmann Khurrana's ‘Dream Girl 2,’ which will be released in July of this year.
