Drake has once again paid homage to the late Punjabi rapper and performer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was killed by a gunshot on May 29. On July 28, the American rapper appeared at a performance in Canada while sporting a T-shirt with an image of Sidhu Moose Wala on it. Two months have passed since Sidhu's passing on July 29. On Drake's T-shirt, Sidhu Moose Wala's name and the years of his birth and death, 1993 to 2022, are visible beneath the image of the artist. Sidhu Moose Wala's Instagram page posted a photo of Drake wearing the T-shirt. Drake recently played some of the late Punjabi singer's songs in a heartfelt tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala during his own radio show.
Several of Moose Wala's fans showered Drake with love and expressed their gratitude for the act shortly after the video went viral. A fan wrote, "This game contains levels! Sidhu Moose Wala: The Man, The Myth, The Legend, and The GOAT." Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was 28 years old when he was fatally shot in Punjab. The day following Sidhu's passing, Drake paid him respect on his Instagram Stories. The musician posted a photo of Sidhu and his mother along with the words "RIP Moose" and a bird emoji.
