After a hiatus of four long years, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan is back with a bang. His upcoming film 'Pathaan' marks his return to the silver screen after his last outing 'Zero', which released in 2018.

Recently, the second song from 'Pathaan' titled 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' was released and the peppy number became a rage in no time.

Choreographer Bosco Martis convinced SRK to show off his abs in 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan'

While there was backlash over SRK's flaunting his killer abs in the song, it has come to light that the actor was initially not in favour of showing off his physique but later gave in to choreographer Bosco Martis, who insisted for it.

"We wanted to celebrate Khan saab’s iconic pose in one of the scenes, while flaunting his chiselled body. He was a little shy initially to show off his ripped physique,” Bosco revealed.

“Siddharth Anand’s (director) brief was to make the song look cool and stylised with effortless Sufiana dance moves. We wanted it to have a distinguished and groovy hook-step,” he added.

SRK's 'Pathaan' features cameos by Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan

Helmed by Siddharth Anand (of 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and 'Bang Bang' fame), Pathaan has been bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF).

The film is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe (after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and War). It will be followed by Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif's 'Tiger 3', which will release in the latter half of 2023.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathan also features Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan in guest appearances.

The film will have a theatrical release on 25 January 2023 in Hindi as well as Telugu and Tamil (dubbed versions).
