Ajay has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films and won numerous accolades, including two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, he was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour of the country.

One of the most successful actors in tinsel town, the Singham (2011) actor turns 53 today. He still remains one of the most sought-after Hindi film actors and for this very reason, filmmakers don't mind giving him a whopping fee as his presence guarantees a hit.

Given below are the jaw-dropping amounts that Ajay Devgn has received as fee for some of his recent movies:

RRR (2022):


For RRR's 7-day shooting schedule, Ajay Devgn was paid Rs 35 crore. In the film, he played the role of Venkata Rama Raju, the father of Rama Raju.

Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022):


In Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, Ajay Devgn was seen in an extended cameo as Rahim Lala, a don and Gangubai's sworn brother. For this role, Ajay charged Rs 11 crore.

Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness (2022):


In his OTT debut, Rudra- The Edge Of Darkness, Ajay played a cop and charged an enormously high fee of Rs. 125 crore for this series.

Coming to work front, Ajay Devgn is all set to direct, produce and star in the drama Runway 34 with Amitabh Bachchan, set for cinema release on Eid in April 2022. Amit Sharma and Boney Kapoor have cast him to play football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in their Pan India sports magnum opus Maidaan, which is releasing on 3 June 2022.

This will be followed by Devgn's special appearance in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus and next brief character in Indra Kumar slice-of-life comedy Thank God with Sidharth Malhotra, both set for cinema release in July 2022.
