Yami Gautam, a Bollywood actress, has established her acting prowess in movies like Kaabil, Dasvi, and A Thursday. The 34-year-old has established herself as one of the most in-demand actors in the business by earning a particular place in many people's hearts with her outstanding performances. Even a few years ago, however, not everything for the actress was happy and jolly. Yami admitted in an exclusive interview with the entertainment portal that she had previously considered giving up acting because she was having trouble finding employment.

YAMI’S STATEMENT

Yami, who is currently blissfully married to filmmaker Aditya Dhar, reflected on the time when she felt underappreciated for her films, which led her to consider quitting the entertainment industry. It almost reached a breaking point, the Vicky Donor actress admitted. “I believed... I suppose I should simply leave, you know, you know what I mean? Leave with the attitude of, "What am I waiting for?" Is it decent? Being patient is a virtue, but what if I put all of these efforts into something else?”

After she jumped at the chance to co-star in Bala with her Vicky Donor co-star Ayushmann Khurrana, things quickly changed for Yami. "Right then, Bala occurred. I was nearly prepared. I never felt desperate, therefore. Koi baat nahi, kuch aur hoga, was my thought. Kar Lengge However, I reasoned that there was no need to worry because something else will eventually occur. We'll do it. But at night, I should have a good night's sleep)," the Kaabil actress admitted.

"There comes a period in everyone's career when you feel horrible about a lot of things," the Bollywood beauty continued. But there's nothing we can do about it," Yami said.

YAMI SHARES ABOUT WHY SHE DOES NOT GIVE MUCH THOUGHT ABOUT GOOD PR TEAM

Yami further acknowledged that she does not give much thought to maintaining a good PR team because "excellent work" is what matters most to her. "I don't employ a huge PR crew. Many producers I speak with advise me to pay attention to my PR staff. To be added to the hit list, all of this must be done. I don't have faith in any of this. Now, all I want to do is a good job," the actress declared.
