The National Award winner was cast as Sanjay Dutt's on-screen wife in 'Sanju,' opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Nevertheless, the actress withdrew out of the film for unclear reasons.

The Dirty Picture

Vidya Balan's role in 'The Dirty Picture' was offered to her. She had later said that she couldn't have played the part better than Vidya, who was 'terrific' in the film.

Sultan

Kangana Ranaut was reportedly approached to portray the leading lady in 'Sultan,' with Salman Khan. The actress declined the film because she did not see aynthing for herself in it.

Airlift

Before Nimrat Kaur was cast as Akshay Kumar's on-screen wife, the producers contacted Kangana Ranaut for the role. Unfortunately, due to her hectic schedule, she declined the offer.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Kangana was also offered a role in Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' opposite Salman. She was reportedly the producers' initial option, but after she declined the role, Kareena Kapoor Khan was cast.

Kangana just wrapped shooting on 'Chandramukhi 2' with Raghava Lawrence. Kangana, on the other hand, has another big release coming up this year. Her film 'Emergency' is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year, but no new date has been confirmed.
