Dhanush & Sara Ali Khan's Atrangi Re emerges as the most-watched film on release day on Disney+ Hotstar

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai's latest directorial venture Atrangi Re (2021) may have received mixed response from critics, but if its viewership on the premiere date is anything to go by, the film seems to have found acceptance from a large number of the audience. The romantic drama delivered the biggest opening day on Disney+ Hotstar as it recorded the highest viewership ever for a new film on release day on the streaming platform.

Viewers are in love with the world that Rai has created with the help of Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar. Icing on the cake is mellifluous music by Oscar-winning AR Rahman. Subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar from across the country are showering immense love on the film which is available in Hindi and Tamil.
