Deepika Padukone is one helluva girl. After winning accolades for her acting chops and impeccable sense of fashion, the Bollywood diva has added yet another feather to her already colorful hat.

TIME recently announced the awardees of the first-ever TIME100 Impact Awards to recognize leaders and pioneers who have done extraordinary work to shape the future of their respective fields and also the world at large.

Among those eminent awardees, including scientists, CEOs, artistes and politicians, is our very own Deepika Padukone. Deepika was honoured for her contribution to the world of cinema and for the cause of being a mental health advocate and raising awareness on the subject.

DP took to Instagram to share the news. She wrote, "Pretty decent start to a Monday morning I would think…#GRATITUDE"

Notably, this makes Deepika Padukone the first Indian actress to be honoured twice by Time Magazine. Not so long ago in 2018, the actress was listed among TIME's 100 most influential people in the world- becoming the only Indian actress to feature on the list alongside Hollywood biggies like Nicole Kidman, Greta Gerwig and Lena Waithe.

On the work front, Deepika will next reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for Yash Raj Films's action film Pathaan. She will star opposite Prabhas in an as-yet untitled science fiction film from filmmaker Nag Ashwin, and star and produce in a remake of the American comedy film The Intern. DP will also star in Siddharth Anand's action film Fighter, alongside Hrithik Roshan, and will portray Draupadi in a retelling of the Mahabharata from her character's perspective, which she will also produce.
