Shahid Kapoor has confirmed that one of his upcoming films, Bull, has been put on hold. The high-profile project was officially announced by producers Amar Butala and Bhushan Kumar on November 17, 2021. The makers had even locked April 7, 2023, as the theatrical release date for the film. However, it looks like the film is going to take some time before it sees the light of the day.
Kapoor, who was set to play a paratrooper in the film, told the media, “Bull is not happening right now as we were not even able to start it. It was a logistical nightmare due to Covid. There are a lot of things that need to be figured out since the film warrants a certain scale. So, we got to sit down and see if it is possible to make Bull right now or not.”
To be directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, Bull was set to get off the ground by early 2022, with an extensive schedule spanning over 8 months. It was among the most-awaited films of Shahid Kapoor. It going into cold storage is definitely going to disappoint his fans.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is looking forward to the release of his much-anticipated film Jersey, co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur. The film arrives on April 14.
