'Children come through you, not from you'; Says Priyanka Chopra in her recent chat with Lily Singh

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were blessed with a baby girl via surrogacy. And it seems that the couple wants to keep it low-key as they haven’t spoken much about their baby girl or parenting as such. But recently Priyanka was seen engaging in a conversation with her dear Lilly. who is all set to release her new book, Be a Triangle: How I Went from Being Lost to Getting My Life.

Priyanka spoke about becoming a mother for the first time during their conversation earlier the actress mentioned that she hasn't been stepping out much. Priyanka told Lilly that her daughter will have the liberty to choose her own path, "As a new parent right now, I keep thinking about that I will never be imposing my desires, fears, my upbringing on to my child. I have always believed that children come through you, not from you."

She further added, "There is no belief like this is my child and I will shape everything. They come through you to find and build their own life. Recognizing that really helped me, my parents were very non-judgmental in a certain way."

Priyanka and Nick shared the big news of their daughter via Instagram on January 22 on Instagram.
