Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly was last seen in Ram Kamal Mukherjee's short film 'Seasons Greetings' which was released in 2020. She received applause from the audience and praise from the celebs for her performance in the Zee 5 film. The film featured Lillette Dubey. On the 24th of November, she turned 41. Celina celebrated her birthday and on that occasion, she said that she wanted to return to films, but she was not getting perfect scripts that would do justice to her.

Celina's saying about her return to cinemas:-

Celina lives in Austria with her husband, Peter Haag, and their children. She mentioned that she was encouraged to work in the film after her success in 'Seasons Greetings.' Last year she received her first filmfare star achievers awards night in Dubai for her best performance in a short film.

She spoke about her plans to return to the cinema because of her short film, even though in pandemic it got encouraged, and she won the Filmfare award for it. She never thought of winning an award for it.

She also mentioned that her favorite theme would be a comedy or a love story to work that would probably give her justice. She said not many scripts are unique and unusual, similar to her short film, 'Seasons Greetings- A Tribute To Rituparno Ghosh. According to her, crime and violence dominate most scripts, and she wants to make people laugh with genuine comedy or wish to beat the audience's hearts with love stories. Lovestores remain embedded in the heart and soul of the audience. She hopes to get the script for herself that she desires and that will do justice to her acting career in the film industry before returning to cinemas.
