The team of the much-anticipated sports drama ‘Chandu Champion’ took a risk in the second schedule, recording an astounding eight-minute-long single-shot combat sequence at a spectacular altitude of 9000 feet above sea level. Kartik Aaryan, who plays the hero in the Kabir Khan film, will be seen wearing an army uniform.
One of the most amazing features of this endeavour, according to accounts, was the creation of a single-take action sequence representing a big fight in 1965. To carry off this astounding feat, the crew built a vast army camp in Jammu and Kashmir's gorgeous Aru Valley, which is positioned at a height of nearly 10,000 feet above sea level.

According to the source, Kartik Aaryan, Vijay Raaz, and Bhuvan Arora practiced for five days to perfect their performances in this epic combat sequence. The team nailed the situation on the sixth day, flawlessly conveying the tight mood of the battle.
According to the film's makers, the genuine story of a motivated athlete served as inspiration. Rumor has it that it was inspired by Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medallist and freestyle swimmer.
After London, the film's second shot schedule took place in Kashmir. A source shared the following information: "The second schedule of Chandu Champion begins next week in Kashmir. The location reconnaissance is finished, and Kabir and his crew will shortly head to Kashmir to begin filming on September 24."
The source added, "Kartik will shoot some heavy action sequences in this schedule, which will go on till the first week of October. The makers plan to shoot a significant portion of the film, which is based on the life of the inspirational figure, paralympic champion Murlikant Petkar. It’s a tough schedule planned to be shot at various breathtaking locations across Kashmir, including Pahalgam."

The movie will be the first joint venture between Kartik and Kabir, as well as their second with director Sajid Nadiadwala. The team shares an uplifting true tale of a sports hero. Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan will release ‘Chandu Champion’ on June 14, 2024.
