Recent reviews of Kartik Aaryan's performance in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ were overwhelmingly positive, and the movie was a financial success. Following the film's release, Kartik has already started working again and will be working with Sajid Nadiadwala once more on his forthcoming movie ‘Chandu Champion.’ Kabir Khan will helm the film, which is based on the life story of a sportsperson. On Tuesday, August 1,2023 the ‘Chandu Champion’ team unveiled the lead actor Kartik Aaryan's initial appearance from the movie. Kartik Aaryan posted a photo of himself wearing the India jacket on Instagram, beaming with pride for his country.

In a separate avatar, Kartik can be seen sporting buzz cut hair and a serious expression on his face. Additionally, he revealed that the first round of the movie's London filming had been completed. He wrote in the caption, “When INDIA is written on your chest, it’s a DIFFERENT feeling. Proud to be playing a Real Hero.. Although the focus of the movie will be on the lead actor, there are a number of other characters who are crucial to the story, and the filmmakers have cast a number of superb performers in these roles. In addition to Bhuvan Arora, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz playing significant roles in the movie, debutant actress Bhagyashree is said to have been cast as the female protagonist.

The movie ‘Chandu Champion’ claims to provide an engrossing story about Murlikant Petkar, a paralympic champion, and his journey in real life. Kartik Aaryan underwent a demanding physical makeover for the part and underwent extensive training from a specialised Los Angeles team.

As per popular media reports, the actor claimed that this was the most difficult character he has ever played. According to the report, "It's a prep-heavy film, and Kartik has gone all out to give his best. It's the most challenging character he has played so far, and he is leaving no stone unturned to make it memorable. The makers are planning to reveal his first look officially sometime this week." The first schedule for the movie has been finalised and by January 2024, it should be wrapped up. Regarding Kartik Aaryan's career as an actor, he next appears in Anurag Basu's ‘Aashiqui 3.’
