On Wednesday, 15th June, Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor finally unveiled the first trailer of their much anticipated film Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, after a five-year wait. Fans were blown away by the amazing visuals in the nearly 3-minute video, putting up a promising start for the trilogy.
The trailer begins with a voiceover by Amitabh Bachchan, who tells us about Brahmastra and how its master is a young boy named Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor), who is unaware of his abilities. Amitabh Bachchan also believes that the energies of water, fire, and air have been confined in an astra known as Brahmastra for many years. The trailer then follows Shiva and Isha (Alia Bhatt) as they fall in love, and their chemistry is unmissable.
Returning to Shiva and his abilities, he is symbolised by the "astra" (element) fire, which also makes him the missing piece in the Brahmastra phenomenon. Shiva's primary goal is to obtain the Brahmastra for a better world, with the help of Amitabh Bachchan (the"guru") and Anish (played by Nagarjuna). However, Junoon (Mouni Roy), who represents the evil forces, stands in his path. The question is if Shiva is truly the Brahmastra's master. Only on September 9 will the answer be revealed.
The magnum opus, which is being produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures, will hit theatres on September 9th, 2022, in five Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
