Netflix upcoming release Thar (2022) featuring Anil Kapoor, Harsh Vardhan Kapoor and Fatima Sana Sheikh is all set to stream on the OTT platform from 06 May 2022.

Set in the 1980s, Thar is a suspense thriller which traces the journey of Siddharth (Harsh Vardhan) through a remote village in Rajasthan that has recently been rocked by a series of violent killings. Anil Kapoor plays the role of a cop who investigates these murders. The movie is helmed by debutant director Raj Singh Chaudhary.

This is the second time Anil Kapoor will share the screen with his son Harsh Vardhan. The duo had earlier appeared together in Anurag Kashyap's 2020 film AK vs AK. Interestingly, the film also starred Sonam Kapoor Ahuja who had earlier featured alongside dad Anil in Shelly Chopra Dhar's Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (2019).

Speaking on the experience of working with both Harsh and Sonam onscreen, Anil Kapoor says both were completely different to him as co-stars. "As actors and human beings, they are very different. You know, it's very strange that in the same family you have siblings who are completely different from one another. Sonam is completely different from Rhea and Harsh is completely different from Sonam and Rhea. All the three are very individualistic, idealistic and very different people who stand by what they believe in," says the 65-year-old actor.

On being asked about the secret behind his undying quest for good films and roles, Anil says that he finds pleasure in acting and hence never gets out of love for it.

“I am work-in-progress. I do films to do justice to the faith that the filmmaker has vested in me. I always try to give my best to the director, the story and the overall project. Sometimes it goes right, sometimes it goes wrong. I am also trying to understand. Nevertheless, it's always a learning experience,” he added.
