Bhumi Pednekar talked about her experience playing a Marathi wife in "Govinda Naam Mera" after people responded favorably to the film's funny dialogue and powerful performances in the trailer. Gauri appears in a new incarnation when Bhumi Pednekar portrays her in "Govinda Naam Mera." Bhumi successfully portrays a Marathi wife while adding a quirky twist. After a brief cameo in Bhoot, Bhumi will work again with Dharma in the Shashank Khaitan-directed film.
The audience adores Gauri's funny side in the trailer. With Govind A. Waghmare (Vicky Kaushal), a struggling choreographer, caught between his love for Suku (Kiara Advani), his girlfriend, and his marriage to Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar), the three players form an unusual love triangle with dramatic turns and twists.
Bhumi provided some insight into her personality "One of the most intriguing people who has ever crossed my path is Gauri Waghmare. While being funny, bossy, and witty, she is also ambitious, strong-willed, and filled with many desires. Nothing matters to her, period." She continued, "Since I'm from Maharashtra, I had the chance to include some of my heritage in this persona. Gauri was a product of my efforts to alter her body, appearance, and speech patterns. I eventually have to portray a role that requires such a complex character."
The full family entertainment, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, will include Vicky Kaushal in a brand-new role.
Govinda Naam Mera will debut on December 16 only on Disney+ Hotstar.
Bhumi will also appear opposite Arjun Kapoor in "The Ladykiller," She also has Bhakshak and Bheed.
