Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Bheed’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Recently, the makers and stars of the film have been sharing black-and-white pictures on their social media and hinting to the audiences that the film talks about partition. After raising the curiosity among the audiences, the makers finally unveiled the teaser of the film and it has a lot to tell. It will take you to the time of partition but not the one that took place in 1947 but the one that occurred in 2023 during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Check Out The Teaser:

The teasers begin by showing black-and-white pictures of poor people and later the pictures turn colorful. In the background, there’s a voice-over saying that the story talks about a time in history when humanity was divided and the country was shaken by its roots. Later, we hear that it is not the story about the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947 but the partition which happened during the 2020 Covid Lockdown. When borders were created and migrant workers had to return home as the places they lived for years weren’t their homes. It is the story of how society lost humanity and was overpowered in our darkest times. The cast members are not shown in the teaser but it was definitely an intriguing one.
