Barkha Singh: I'd want to play a character who is slightly severe and twisted on screen

Actress Barkha Singh from Masaba Masaba is thrilled about the type of job coming her way. She is especially smitten with the digital world because it has given her access to many characters that have advanced her acting career. She had added, "OTT is wonderful for performers and has opened up a lot more opportunities," during her most recent discussion with us. Due to this medium, there have been ground-breaking projects, and I've had the opportunity to try various jobs. Want To Do A Bit of Serious Role

I would want to have the chance to do something a little more serious, a little less glamorous, something that is a grey character, a twisted character, or maybe a twisted series. I aim to show human struggle in all of its ugliness. I haven't done that before, but it's unquestionably something I would like to do.

About Her Upcoming Movie Maja Ma

The film's plot centers on a Gujarati middle-class family whose sinister family secret is revealed just in time for their son's wedding.

In the movie, Barkha plays the role of Isha, a future daughter-in-law from an NRI family.

Barkha explained her persona in greater depth, "Isha is incredibly free-spirited, deeply in love with Tejas, and naturally very accepting. She approaches complicated situations with acceptance. I had a lot of guidance from Anand Sir during the process to develop the character well. I am a person that is quite welcoming by nature in real life."

Anand Tiwari is the director, Amritpal Singh Bindra is the producer, and Sumit Batheja is the writer of the movie Maja Ma. It debuts on Prime Video on October 6 and stars Gajaraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha, Ritwik Bhowmik, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit.
