It was revealed a few months back that Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff would be collaborating on Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. It is believed that the film, which had Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in the key roles and was released in 1998, is a reboot of the action-packed Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The female leads of the original film were Ramya Krishnan and Raveena Tandon, however the makers have not yet made a formal announcement on which actresses will appear in the remake.
However, a new report claims that Shraddha Kapoor has been offered the role of Tiger Shroff's co-star in the film. Tiger and Shraddha previously co-starred in the films Baaghi (2016) and Baaghi 3 (2020). The lockdown was announced a few days after the release of the latter film, although the former was a hit and did well at the box office.
Talking about Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the film is scheduled to start rolling in February next year, and it is slated to release in Christmas 2023.
There were reports that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had been shelved a few days back. However, the producers refuted the claims and claimed that the film was proceeding as planned.
