AR Rahman, who was presented to the world by director Mani Ratnam in the 1992 film Roja, is celebrating 30 years in the music industry. He has been a very productive musician, giving the industry many masterpieces. His skill is known all over the world, and he has won two Oscars for his outstanding work. To mark this important event, PVR Cinemas is putting on the ARR Film Festival from August 4 to August 9 in Chennai and Coimbatore.
More than 15 films with music written by AR Rahman will be shown at the event. On the list are well-known films like 'Raavaanan,' 'OK Kanmani,' 'Bigil,' 'PS 1,' 'One Heart,' 'I,' Vendhu Thanindhatu Kaadu, Jodha Akbar, Rockstar, Raanjhana, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Sarvam Thaala Mayam.
AR Rahman himself has said that he is grateful and happy for the love and support he has gotten from fans all over the world. Fans will get to see some of his best work on the big screen at the festival, which is sure to be a memorable event.

As for AR Rahman's honours, he has won many important awards for his outstanding work in the Indian music industry. He has won a lot of awards, including 6 National Film Awards, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, 2 Grammy Awards, 2 Academy Awards, and 15 Filmfare Awards. In 2010, he was also given the Padma Bhushan, which is India's third-highest civilian award. This award was given to him because of his great skill and charity work.
